Loader Operator


As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load and unload materials at construction sites or other designated locations. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials, while following all safety protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate front-end loaders to load and unload various materials such as gravel, soil, sand, and debris
- Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with team members to coordinate loading and unloading tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery, specifically front-end loaders
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for heavy equipment operation
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb onto machinery, and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in construction or similar field
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read blueprints
- Fluency in English (Greenlandic language proficiency is a plus)

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Type: Part-time or full-time (flexible hours available for students)

Location: Greenland (accommodation not provided)
