Junior Machine Learning Engineer

As a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, you will work alongside our team of experienced engineers to develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning solutions. You will be responsible for assisting with the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms, as well as conducting thorough testing and analysis to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop machine learning solutions for various projects
- Conduct research on new techniques and algorithms in machine learning
- Design, build, and maintain machine learning models
- Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering tasks
- Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of models using appropriate metrics
- Continuously monitor model performance and make necessary improvements
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machine learning

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Python or Java
- Experience with popular machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Knowledge of data preprocessing techniques including feature selection/extraction and dimensionality reduction
- Familiarity with SQL databases for data retrieval/manipulation tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous internship or project experience in the field of machine learning
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques such as CNNs or RNNs
- Experience working with large datasets using distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Hadoop
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark (visa sponsorship available)

Salary: $1200 per month (for students)
