QA Engineer
A growing software company in Copenhagen is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through thorough testing and identifying any defects or issues. This is a contract position with the opportunity for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Identify, record, and track defects through the use of bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues found during testing
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for quality assurance
- Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates on testing progress
- Participate in peer reviews of code changes to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
