Game Developer (Part-Time)

As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for creating and developing innovative and engaging video games. You will work closely with the design team to develop game concepts, as well as collaborate with other developers to ensure smooth integration of graphics, sound, and programming elements. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for growth in our expanding company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers to develop game concepts and mechanics
- Write efficient and reusable code for game systems and features
- Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay experience
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the game code
- Work closely with artists and sound engineers to integrate assets into the game
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in game development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience developing video games, preferably in Unity or Unreal Engine
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (C++, C#, Java)
- Experience with 3D graphics programming and animation techniques
- Knowledge of game design principles and mechanics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing mobile games for iOS or Android platforms
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Passion for playing video games across different genres
Salary: $1300 per month (based on part-time hours)
