Junior Information Security Analyst


As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our organization's information systems and data. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the senior analysts in identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on our information systems
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and investigate any potential threats
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that all systems are properly configured and maintained for maximum security
- Respond to security incidents, including performing forensics analysis and creating incident reports
- Stay up-to-date on the latest threats and vulnerabilities in the field of information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and web technologies
- Knowledge of common security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java)
- Ability to think critically and identify potential risks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure
- Biometric passport is preferred but not required
