Database Administrator


We are in search of a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Copenhagen. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and securing our company's databases. Your role will involve creating new databases, managing access and permissions, monitoring performance and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain databases for various applications
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Ensure data security and implement backup and recovery procedures
- Manage user access and permissions to ensure data integrity
- Optimize database performance by tuning queries and indexes
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with data backup, recovery, security, and performance monitoring
- Familiarity with SQL programming language
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Copenhagen (accommodation provided if needed)
