Database Administrator (DBA) - Copenhagen, Denmark



As a Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's databases. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the security, availability, and integrity of our data systems. You will also work closely with our development team to optimize database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain database structures and schemas
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups, updates, and access controls
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Work closely with development team to optimize database queries and performance
- Develop and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures
- Plan for future expansion of databases as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL language, as well as database management tools such as Oracle or MySQL
- Understanding of database design principles and best practices
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure
- Certification in database administration (Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)

Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position located in Copenhagen. We welcome applicants from all nationalities but prefer candidates who have the right to work in Denmark. We also encourage recent graduates or candidates with limited experience to apply for this position. Our company offers visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
