Interpreter - Danish/English - Copenhagen, Denmark


We are in need of a skilled and qualified Interpreter to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between Danish and English speakers in various settings such as conferences, meetings, and legal proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language from Danish to English and vice versa accurately and efficiently
- Translate written documents from Danish to English and vice versa
- Provide cultural and linguistic expertise to ensure accurate understanding between parties
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Familiarize oneself with specialized terminology related to the field of work or event

Requirements:
- Fluency in both Danish and English languages
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written form
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator is preferred but not required
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Proficient use of translation software or tools is a plus

Education:
A degree in interpretation, translation, linguistics or a related field is preferred but not required. However, fluency in both languages is mandatory.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with standard office hours. However, flexibility with working hours may be required depending on the nature of the assignments.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month. However, it may vary depending on qualifications and experience.

Location:
The role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Candidates located elsewhere must be willing to relocate at their own expense.
