Typesetter

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Copenhagen. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Use typesetting software to create layouts for print and digital publications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and quality of final product
- Make necessary adjustments to layouts based on feedback from clients or team members
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and updates in typesetting software

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the publishing industry
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for digital publication typesetting
- Familiarity with different languages and their typographical conventions

Salary: $1100 per month. This is a contract position with potential for full-time employment.
