Part-Time Plasterboard Worker (Copenhagen, Denmark)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterboard Worker to join our team on a part-time basis in Copenhagen. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing plasterboard in various residential and commercial projects. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboard, attaching it to walls and ceilings, filling joints and holes with compound, and sanding the surface for a smooth finish.
To be successful in this position, you should have previous experience working with plasterboard, as well as strong knowledge of construction techniques and safety protocols. You must be able to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Attention to detail is crucial in this role to ensure the final product meets the required specifications.
As a Part-Time Plasterboard Worker, you will work approximately 20-25 hours per week on flexible schedules. This role does not provide accommodation; therefore we prefer candidates who reside in or near Copenhagen.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to project requirements
- Install plasterboard onto walls and ceilings using appropriate tools
- Fill joints and holes with compound and smooth out the surface
- Sand the surface for a perfect finish
- Inspect finished work for flaws or imperfections
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work
- Basic math skills for measuring materials accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed
- Own transportation is preferred
