Executive Chef - Nordic Cuisine
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Nordic cuisine menu and leading a team of culinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new dishes using Nordic ingredients and techniques
- Ensure quality and consistency of all dishes served
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus and special event menus
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting, with a focus on Nordic cuisine preferred
- Strong knowledge of Nordic ingredients, techniques, and flavors
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Experience with menu development, cost control, and inventory management
- Must have own visa or be eligible to work in Denmark without sponsorship
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
