Executive Chef
We are currently hiring for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Copenhagen. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Create and implement seasonal menus that meet our customers' needs and preferences
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to maintain stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
- Manage food costs by monitoring portion control, waste, and inventory levels
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu development
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with kitchen staff, management, and customers
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Copenhagen (accommodation not provided)
Employment Type: Temporary (possibility of extension)
Nationality: No preference (must have valid work permit for Denmark)
