Contract Executive Chef in Copenhagen



We are in search of a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful city of Copenhagen. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the culinary operations of our restaurant. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and create new dishes that align with our restaurant's concept and appeal to our customers
- Source high-quality ingredients and manage food inventory to ensure freshness
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor food production costs to ensure profitability without sacrificing quality
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a chef
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Must be able to legally work in Denmark on a contract basis

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Contract Job:
This is a contract job with an initial duration of 6 months. However, there may be potential for extension based on performance.
