Executive Chef - Copenhagen, Denmark
We are in search of a talented and innovative Executive Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, Denmark. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, creating and executing menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Creativity in menu planning and food presentation
- Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid work visa for Denmark (free visa provided if needed)
- Willingness to relocate to Copenhagen if not currently located there
Responsibilities:
- Develop seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients and meet dietary restrictions
- Oversee kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure consistent quality of dishes by tasting and adjusting recipes as needed
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs
- Collaborate with management on budget planning and purchasing decisions
- Uphold safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
