Restaurant Manager in Copenhagen, Denmark
Our busy restaurant in Copenhagen is seeking an experienced and driven Restaurant Manager to join our team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service
- Train and manage staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability
- Monitor restaurant performance and make necessary adjustments to meet targets
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health codes and regulations
- Create employee schedules and manage labor costs within budget guidelines
- Collaborate with other managers to plan special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or relevant role in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and meeting financial targets
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach staff
- Strong communication skills in English (Danish language proficiency is a plus)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must be able to legally work in Denmark
