Executive Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant in Copenhagen
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our team at a high-end fine dining restaurant in the beautiful city of Copenhagen. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and overall kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus that showcase fresh and innovative dishes
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes meet quality standards
- Train and manage kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive work environment
- Control inventory levels and manage food cost to meet budget targets
- Monitor food safety procedures and maintain health code standards
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency and profitability of the kitchen
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a reputable institution
- Passion for creating unique and flavorful dishes using high-quality ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Biometric passport
- Experience working in Denmark or other Nordic countries
- Knowledge of Scandinavian cuisine
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month, along with accommodation provided by the restaurant. This is a contract job with possibility for extension.
