Contract Librarian in Copenhagen



We are searching for a skilled and experienced Contract Librarian to join our team in Copenhagen. As a Contract Librarian, you will be responsible for managing library collections, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and developing and implementing library programs. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month, with the option of accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Manage library collections by organizing, cataloging, and maintaining materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Develop and implement library programs to promote literacy and community engagement
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and execute events and workshops
- Stay up-to-date on current trends in library services and implement new ideas as needed
- Train volunteers or interns on library procedures and tasks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian in a public or academic library setting
- Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging, and classification standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide high-quality customer service
- Proficient in using technology for research purposes
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others effectively
