Head Chef


We are in need of an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our restaurant located in the beautiful city of Copenhagen. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious dishes while managing the kitchen staff and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies, creating menus, and overseeing the overall operations of the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Create seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and service
- Oversee inventory management and ordering supplies within budget constraints
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Monitor customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to menu items or operations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of budgeting, inventory management, and cost control measures
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new dishes
- Fluent English language skills (Danish language skills are an advantage)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month (before taxes) along with potential bonuses based on performance.
