Instrument Technician - Copenhagen, Denmark
We are in need of an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. This is a contract job with a salary of 1800$ per month, with no accommodation provided. Candidates must hold a biometric passport and we welcome applications from all genders.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, level sensors, temperature controllers, etc.
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and equipment to identify root cause and implement effective solutions
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments and identify any potential issues
- Follow safety protocols while working with hazardous materials and in potentially dangerous environments
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and keep track of inventory levels for replacement parts
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in instrument technology
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Diploma or degree in Instrumentation Technology or relevant field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and PLCs
- Experience working with various types of instruments such as pressure sensors, transmitters, analyzers etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to instrument maintenance
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
