Radio Technician
As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of radio communication equipment. You will work with various types of radios, including two-way radios, satellite radios, and digital radios. Your duties may include troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine maintenance checks, and providing technical support to users. You may also be required to travel to different locations to install or repair equipment.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of radio communication technology and be familiar with industry standards and regulations. You must also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work well under pressure. A degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio communication equipment
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance tasks
- Provide technical support to users
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations
- Travel to different locations as needed for installations or repairs
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a radio technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of radio communication technology
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
Salary: 1600$ per month
