Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's computer systems and networks. You will ensure that all systems are up-to-date, secure, and running efficiently. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring network performance, and providing technical support to users.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
- Monitor system performance to ensure smooth operation
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and system updates
- Troubleshoot network issues as they arise
- Provide technical support to end-users for both hardware and software related issues
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures
- Work with vendors to procure new equipment or software when needed
- Implement security measures to protect the company's data from cyber threats
- Keep abreast of new technologies in the field of networking and make recommendations for their implementation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator or a similar role (experience with Cisco products is a plus)
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Location: Herning
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
