PHP Developer

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our team in Herning on a contract basis. As a developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using PHP programming language. Your primary focus will be on ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the applications, as well as integrating front-end elements built by our front-end developers. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a PHP Developer
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with SQL databases, particularly MySQL
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Understanding of front-end technologies including Bootstrap and AngularJS
- Good understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and functionality for web applications using PHP programming language
- Ensure high performance of the applications by optimizing code and database queries
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
- Write clean, well-designed code following industry best practices
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development
