Junior Database Administrator


We are seeking a Junior Database Administrator to join our growing team in Herning, Denmark. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and upgrade database systems
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and implement procedures for data backup and disaster recovery
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular audits and updates
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of new applications with existing databases
- Assist in database design, optimization, and capacity planning
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as index rebuilds and data purging

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working with SQL Server or Oracle databases
- Basic understanding of database administration principles
- Proficient in SQL query writing and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills

Salary: 1100$ per month.

Location: This position is based in Herning, Denmark.

Preference: This position is suitable for recent graduates or individuals without experience. We welcome candidates of any gender identity.
