As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases. Your main duties will include monitoring database performance, optimizing database design, and ensuring data security and integrity. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting database issues, performing backups and data recovery procedures, and implementing new databases as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Optimize database design to improve efficiency and performance
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing access controls and backup procedures
- Perform regular backups and data recovery procedures as needed
- Collaborate with the development team to implement new databases as required
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in database technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in SQL and other relevant programming languages
- Experience with database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL or Oracle
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity principles
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Salary:

This position is based in Herning, Denmark. While we prefer candidates who can work on-site, remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
