Typesetter

We are a publishing company located in Herning and we are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in typesetting for various print and digital publications. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and graphics into visually appealing layouts. You will also collaborate with editors, designers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and quality of the final product.

Key Responsibilities:
- Typeset text, images, and graphics in various publications according to design specifications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Make necessary adjustments to layouts based on feedback from team members
- Ensure proper formatting of text for readability and aesthetics
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Education:
A high school diploma is required. A degree in graphic design or a related field is preferred.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Herning, Denmark. Relocation assistance is not provided.
