Entry Level Turner in Herning, Denmark
As an Entry Level Turner in Herning, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and equipment used to shape metal into specific parts and components. You will work with a team of experienced turners to learn the trade and develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine specifications for turning operations
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other tools to shape metal pieces according to specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on machines including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting as needed
- Work with a team to troubleshoot any issues that arise during turning process
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in turning is not required but would be considered an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role that may require lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination
