Contract Turner in Herning, Denmark
We are in need of a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team in Herning, Denmark on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and tools used for turning and shaping metal parts according to engineering specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine the correct specifications for turning operations
- Set up and adjust machines such as lathes, grinders, and drill presses to perform turning tasks
- Operate machines to turn metal parts to the required shape and size
- Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of turned parts
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Keep work area clean and organized, following all safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement tools
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to operate various machines used for turning, grinding, drilling, etc.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have own visa/permission to work in Denmark without requiring sponsorship
Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month. Exact salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
