Heavy Equipment Operator

We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Herning. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to assist with construction and maintenance projects. This position requires a high level of physical strength and stamina as well as excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to company policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow project plans and blueprints to perform tasks accurately
- Excavate, grade, level, and compact earth using heavy equipment
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or other equipment using the appropriate machinery
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment by cleaning, greasing, and making minor repairs when needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not required
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Physical ability to withstand long hours of sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and working in various weather conditions
- Strong hand-eye coordination with good depth perception for safe operation of machinery
- High attention to detail with a focus on safety
