Preservation Architect

We are in search of a skilled Preservation Architect to join our dynamic team in Herning. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings and structures by conducting research, developing restoration plans, and overseeing construction projects. Your role will be vital in ensuring the preservation of cultural heritage for future generations.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures to understand their architectural significance and current state
- Develop detailed restoration plans that adhere to preservation guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with contractors and other professionals to oversee restoration projects from planning to completion
- Ensure that all preservation work is carried out accurately and according to specifications
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all preservation work
- Stay updated on the latest preservation techniques, materials, and practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history, preservation techniques, materials, and regulations
- Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze complex information
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Herning, Denmark (local candidates preferred)
