Preservation Architect
We are in search of a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Herning. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, while also ensuring they meet modern safety and accessibility standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to develop and implement preservation plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and any necessary repairs or modifications
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and requirements for the project
- Work with contractors to oversee the execution of preservation plans
- Conduct research on historic building materials and techniques to ensure authenticity in restoration projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of all preservation work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Knowledge of historic preservation regulations and guidelines
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and government agencies
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Salary: $1100 per month (part-time)
City: Herning, Denmark
