Head Chef
We are a well-established restaurant located in the charming city of Herning, seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and creating delicious and innovative dishes that will delight our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are both creative and cost-effective
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and health regulations
- Monitor food costs to keep within budget constraints
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef
- Ability to create unique dishes while also maintaining classic favorites
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Knowledge of best practices for food handling, safety, and sanitation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary:
