Radio Technician (Contract Position) - Herning, Denmark


As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of radio equipment in our company's radio broadcasting facilities. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting technical issues, performing regular maintenance checks, and conducting repairs as needed. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month and includes visa sponsorship for non-Danish applicants. Previous experience in radio technology is not required, but a strong interest and willingness to learn is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot technical issues with radio equipment and systems
- Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal functioning of equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot more complex issues
- Stay updated on the latest developments in radio technology and equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols when working with electrical components

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; degree or certification in electronics or related field preferred
- Proven experience working with electronic equipment is an asset, but not required
- Basic understanding of radio technology principles and terminology is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Physically fit to perform manual labor and work at heights if necessary

Working Conditions:
This is primarily an indoor job, but may require occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions. You may also need to work at heights when installing or repairing equipment on towers. The job may involve working on weekends or evenings depending on the needs of the company.
