Carpenter Assistant


We are in need of a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team in Herning. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours in the future. As a Carpenter Assistant, you will work closely with our team of experienced carpenters to assist in various projects and tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures according to specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Cut or saw boards, timbers, or plywood to required size using hand or power tools
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Help maintain clean and organized work areas
- Operate hand and power tools safely

Requirements:
- Experience working as a carpenter or carpenter assistant preferred
- Knowledge of various carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends if required

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.

Location:
This job is based in Herning but may require occasional travel within the city or surrounding areas for projects.
