Mason - Construction and Repair Specialist


As a Mason - Construction and Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other materials. You will work on both residential and commercial projects in the city of Herning, Denmark.

Your daily tasks will include laying out patterns and foundations for buildings, cutting and shaping materials to fit specific designs, mixing mortar and grout to hold materials together, and using hand tools or machinery to place materials in position. You may also be required to read blueprints or follow instructions from project managers to ensure accuracy in your work.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of different masonry techniques and safety procedures. You should also have excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Attention to detail is crucial as even small mistakes can compromise the structural integrity of a building.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience as a Mason in construction or repair work. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, but additional training or certification in masonry is preferred. As this role involves working on different job sites, reliable transportation is necessary.

In addition to technical skills, we value someone who works well in a team environment and has good communication skills. You should be able to take direction from supervisors but also have the ability to work independently when needed.

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. We offer benefits such as health insurance and paid time off after probationary period.
