Hotel Sales Manager


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Herning, Denmark. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share for our hotel. Your primary goal will be to drive bookings and generate business from corporate clients, groups, and individual travelers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Develop pricing strategies and packages to attract guests
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review
- Train and supervise the sales team members to ensure they meet their targets
- Coordinate with other departments such as reservations, operations, and finance to ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Proficient in using sales software such as Salesforce or CRM systems
- Knowledge of the local market trends and competitors
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for business purposes
