IT Manager

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure and operations of our company in Faroe-Islands. Your primary role will be to ensure the smooth functioning of our computer systems, networks, and software applications. You will also be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals and providing guidance and support to them.

Your main duties will include developing and implementing strategic plans for the company's technology needs, evaluating current systems and recommending improvements, and managing IT budgets. You will also be responsible for ensuring data security and disaster recovery plans are in place.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in information technology with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. You should have a thorough understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications. In addition, you should have excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

As this is a managerial position, you must possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments within the company. You should also have strong analytical skills to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. Certification in project management or other relevant areas would also be beneficial.
