Network and Systems Administrator
We are hiring a Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Faroe-Islands on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in network and system administration, with a salary of 1200$. This position is open to candidates of any gender. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting our network and systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Maintain network security by implementing necessary updates and patches
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to end-users
- Perform regular backups of data to ensure data integrity
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to enhance our network and system capabilities

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), LAN/WAN configuration, and wireless networks
- Familiarity with firewall configuration, routing protocols (e.g. BGP), VPN technologies, and virtualization
- Experience with Windows/Linux/Mac operating systems
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

This position is located in Faroe Islands.

Contract Type:
This is a contract position with the potential for extension.
