Technical Support Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients and troubleshooting any hardware or software issues they may encounter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for clients experiencing technical issues
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems remotely or on-site
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Train clients on how to effectively utilize their technology equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
- Keep track of all technical support tickets and provide regular updates to clients
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on computer systems to ensure optimal performance
- Research and recommend new technology solutions to improve client operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist or similar role
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when necessary
Salary: $1000 monthly (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Faroe-Islands (accommodation not provided)
