Network and Systems Administrator



We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our computer systems, networks, and software applications.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, encryption, and other security measures
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email systems, and file sharing
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models as needed
- Evaluate current systems and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes
- Provide technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP) and LAN/WAN configuration
- Experience with network security protocols (e.g. VPNs)
- Familiarity with server operating systems (e.g. Windows Server)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.
