Back-End Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our team in Faroe Islands. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications, as well as collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure back-end systems for our web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby.
- Optimize application code for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise in the development process.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Back-End Developer.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python or Ruby.
- Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of web development principles such as RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, etc.
- Knowledge of security best practices for web development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this position.
Location:
This position is located in the beautiful Faroe Islands. We also provide free visa sponsorship and airfare for international candidates.
