Back-End Developer (Part-Time)


We are hiring a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Faroe-Islands on a part-time basis. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side web application logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Your role will involve collaborating with the front-end developers and designers to build efficient, scalable, and secure applications that meet our clients’ needs.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP
- Knowledge of web server technologies like Node.js and Apache
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB
- Experience in implementing security and data protection measures
- Good understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing server-side architecture for web applications
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementing data storage solutions using databases or file systems
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Performing regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Troubleshooting production issues and providing timely resolutions
