Back-End Developer (Faroe-Islands)


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of back-end programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, or PHP, and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient and reliable back-end systems
- Write clean and scalable code using the appropriate programming languages
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Design and implement data storage solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of at least one back-end programming language (Java, Python, PHP)
- Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of web server technologies (Apache, Nginx)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and relevant skills
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)

Salary: 1400$ per month without accommodation.
Note: This salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Location: Our office is located in the beautiful Faroe Islands. However, we are open to remote candidates who are able to work within our time zone.
