Back-End Developer



We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Faroe-Islands. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side web application logic. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side web application logic
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into applications
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with database management systems (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.
