Senior Back-End Developer


We are a growing tech company based in the beautiful Faroe Islands, searching for a skilled and experienced Senior Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex back-end systems that support our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of front-end features with the back-end systems.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Back-End Developer
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with back-end frameworks such as Django, Spring Boot, or Ruby on Rails
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of web security principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient and scalable back-end systems to support our web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Write clean, well-designed code that follows industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the back-end systems and provide timely solutions
- Optimize application performance through efficient database design and query optimization techniques
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in the field of back-end development
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical issues

Salary: 1700$ per month

Note: This is a full-time position without accommodation. Candidates must have their own valid visa to work in the Faroe Islands.
