Junior Data Analyst


We are hiring a Junior Data Analyst to join our team in Faroe Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes. You will work closely with senior data analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and contribute to the development of data-driven strategies. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, and a passion for problem-solving. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate to gain hands-on experience in the field of data analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources
- Conducting statistical analyses and creating visualizations to identify patterns and trends
- Interpreting data to provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Collaborating with team members to develop comprehensive reports based on findings
- Communicating complex concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner
- Assisting in the development of data-driven strategies to optimize business processes
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faroe Islands.
