Junior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Software Developer to join our fast-paced team in the beautiful city of Faroe Islands. As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month. Please note that this position does not include accommodation and we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement software solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Continuously improve coding skills through self-learning and training opportunities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with web development frameworks like Angular or React
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN
- Understanding of software testing principles and techniques
