We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Faroe-Islands. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. Your primary focus will be the development of user-friendly, efficient, and robust mobile applications that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile development and a strong understanding of the Android framework and its best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and usability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and the Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs integration
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with cross-platform app development tools such as React Native or Flutter
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript would be a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN

Salary:
$1000 per month without accommodation.

Location:
This position is based in Faroe Islands. However, candidates from other nationalities who are willing to relocate are also welcome to apply.
