Part-Time Android Developer
Location: Faroe Islands, Denmark
Salary: 1100$ per month


We are a growing tech startup based in the beautiful Faroe Islands, and we are seeking a skilled Android developer to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Android developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge mobile applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java, Android SDK, and third-party libraries. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience with Agile methodology is also preferred. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work remotely or at our office in Tórshavn.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as an Android developer
- Experience with Java, Android SDK, third-party libraries (such as Retrofit or Volley)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices
- Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
