Junior IOS Developer

As a Junior IOS Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS devices. You will work closely with our team of experienced developers to bring innovative ideas to life. Your main focus will be on coding and implementing new features, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with designers and product managers to create user-friendly interfaces. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the entire development process, from conceptualization to release.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS devices
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and fix bugs in a timely manner
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in iOS development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in Swift programming language
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing mobile applications for other platforms (Android)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects on GitHub

Salary: $1400/month
Location: Faroe Islands
Visa Sponsorship: Available for qualified candidates without experience.
