Job Title: Information Security Analyst


We are searching for an experienced and highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures to protect our organization's computer systems and networks from potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Monitor network activity for any unusual or suspicious behavior
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats
- Work closely with other teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of our organization's operations
- Provide training and support to employees on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, standards, and frameworks (ISO 27001/2, NIST)
- Experience with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, VPNs, encryption methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Faroe-Islands
